Gods blessings on Fr. Shane Deman, Heelan Chaplain and '99 Heelan graduate on the 10th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood. Since arriving at Heelan in 2015 he earned a Doctorate degree in Sacred Theology at the Gregorian University in Rome, led spiritual retreats, organized service days, celebrated Mass, heard confessions, led school prayer, counseled students and attended countless games and events.

Bishop Heelan Art 3 and 4 students delivered hand painted ceiling tiles and helped install them at the new Mercy Child Advocacy Center this month. The tiles are painted with a "where's waldo" type of theme for two exams rooms to distract children as they undergo difficult physical exams.

Heelan Reunion Class Supports Scholarship

The Heelan Class of 2007 raised money for a Heelan student scholarship during their 10 Year Class Reunion this weekend. The grads used an online auction to raise some $600 for the Dee Blatchford Memorial Scholarship for a student excelling in science at Heelan.

Lenova chromebooks and PC, ordered by parents last month, are at the BHCS Admin Offices for pick up. Some 80 11.6 inch low-priced devices were offered to parents of students K-12 on Sept. 18-25 to help support student technology use for classroom learning. Lenova is a top PC brand in the market right along with HP and Dell.
