Heelan theater students will present the male and female versions of “The Odd Couple” in the Heelan Fine Arts Auditorium Oct. 24-28 with Sneaky’s Chicken Dinner Theater Saturday starting at 5:45 p.m. 

 

Males will perform Oct. 24 and Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 28 at 3:30 p.m.  Oscar Madison will be played by Christian Krogh and Felix Unger by Matt Griesel. Other student performers are Truman Osborn, Jacob Broermann, Ethan Bourassa, Kathy O’Gara and Natalie Callaghan.

 

Females will perform at 7 p.m. Oct. 25, 27 and 28. Dinner will be served between show times.

Olive Madison will be played by Lauren Sobaski and Florence Unger by Sarah Beumler. Other student performers are Becky Ricke, Haley Olson, Sophia Kitto and several who play in the male version.

 

Playwright Neil Simon wrote male and female versions of the Odd Couple comedy which features the high jinks of Oscar/Olive (who is divorced) and friend Felix/Florence (who is recently broken up) as they learn how to navigate life, love and living together. 

 

Dinner is $15 per person for one show and; $20 per person with two shows. Reserve dinner at 712-224-6235.
