Patty Considine-McClintock has joined Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools as the new director of annual giving, a new position to better support our BHCS fundraising efforts.

She will work on the Annual Fund, the Heelan Auction, Gold Club and other giving initiatives with the advancement team of Heelan grads Tom Betz ‘85, Janet Flanagan ’71 and Tammy Eveleth ‘87. (After leading 10 Heelan Auctions, Janet has moved to part-time.)

Patty has served in the United States Air Force and 185th Iowa Air National Guard. She also previously worked as a buyer and trainer at Gateway 2000 and owned a private fitness studio.

Most recently she was a physical therapist assistant and clinic liaison for Physical Therapy Specialists.

A native of Pierson, Iowa, she has a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Morningside College and degrees in the advanced personal training and physical therapist assistant programs at Western Iowa Tech Community College.

Patty has been a board member and race director for Missouri River Runners for 25 years, and has completed 3 Iron Man Triathlons, a 50 Mile Trail Run, Adventure Races, marathons and more.

An annual Heelan merit scholarship honors her late husband Tom Considine, a Heelan grad and Commander of the Iowa Air National Guard 185th Fighter Wing who died in 2001.

Patty is now married to Bob McClintock, a 1985 Heelan grad; and the couple’s son, Tyler, attends Holy Cross School. She is also the mother of Heelan grads Mike Considine ’10, now an F-16 fighter pilot based in Sioux Falls, SD., Kelly Considine ’98, a pharmacist in Minneapolis and the late Kristen Considine ’01.
